Jasmine and David have to be two of the sweetest, most in-love couples I've ever known. They're playful yet strong. They're sweet and cuddly yet serious about their relationship and future marriage. We had so much fun wandering around Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, for their engagement session. I love how they chose a super casual outfit to start and then completely switched it up with something super polished. Since their Camp Lucy wedding will be on New Years Eve, it only made sense to pop champagne at the end of the session.
Congrats to you guys! I am so excited about your beautiful New Years Eve wedding. Location: Zilker Park // Clutch: Kate Spade // Film processing: The FIND Lab

Romantic red anniversary session | Fort Worth, Texas12/16/2016 0 Comments
This is part two of Jeff and Christine's downtown Fort Worth anniversary portrait session from last year, which was featured on Burnett's Boards. You can see part one, inspired by New Years Eve here (which will be featured on Virginia Grace Social next week!)
Jeff contacted me to surprise Christine with a session around the holidays. Christine is the brilliant stylist, planner and owner of Alexander Event Co. When Jeff and I were chatting details, he told me that Christine is always making awesome things happen for other people and he wanted to make something awesome happen for her. He's a keeper! Oh these two. I've been friends with Jackie & Andrew for a couple years and I always love hanging out with them. They're funny, down-to-earth, and all-around good people. So you can imagine my excitement when they asked me to photograph their wedding. It was an instant yes!
Brooke and Ben have been such a joy to get to know over the last six months. They're kind, humble, and sweet. Their family and friends mean everything to them and these two worked hard to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves at their October wedding at the Trophy Club Country Club, which was not limited to a cigar roller and lots of delicious cake.
Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Jessup! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your big day!
From the moment I met Courtney and Andy, I knew we'd be a perfect match. We have so much in common including a strong love for soccer, craft beer and pizza, and the Greenville St. Patrick's Day Parade. I can't believe we haven't crossed paths before our first meeting in Starbucks!
These two were so easy to photograph. Their chemistry is palpable and their connection is strong. I'm so excited about their beautiful spring wedding in Dallas next April!
This editorial is the perfect example of what happens when a team of talented creatives collaborate to do something just for fun, for the creative outlet of trying something out of the box. Like a nautical shoot in Dallas.
I'm so thankful to have found a group of ridiculously talented, ridiculously supportive film photographers here in Dallas. We gathered on a warm June evening to try new things, new angles and new ideas just for the fun of it. Enjoy!
Thank you to the team who made this possible! And to Style Me Pretty for the feature.

This stunning blush & marsala wedding inspiration editorial at the White Sparrow Barn was featured on Trendy Bride earlier this month and I'm so excited to share some of my favorites from the feature.
This type of style is perfect for brides who want rich fall colors with lush florals and a European twist.

This shoot has been one of my favorites to date and I was so thankful Ruffled published it at the end of the summer. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this shoot and it was totally worth it. I feel like the whole vibe really nailed my style and vision as a photographer.
Thank you to the creative team who made this a reality and thank you to Ruffled for the feature!

This couple is oh-so-special to me. I've known Amanda since my freshman year of college at Bryant University in Rhode Island. It's a small school and we became fast friends. I've always loved her spunky, outgoing, FUN personality. We've been through a lot over the past 10+ years and I am so thankful for her friendship.
Meeting Drew, her wonderful fiance, put all the pieces into place. He is the biggest sweetheart and loves Amanda so much. I am beyond honored to be capturing their engagement and beautiful 2017 wedding in New Hampshire. Congrats, you two!

It's that time of year again for ... everyone to start loving FALL!
Guys. I'm just not one of those girls singing about pumpkin spice lattes, cozy sweaters and boots. I'm just not. And especially now that I live in Texas where the word "fall" really doesn't exist and it seems silly to celebrate something that just doesn't happen here. We go from 95 to 40 degrees seemingly overnight and just like that, it's winter. Sigh. However, it is time to debut my fall playlist and that is something I want to celebrate. Take a listen and let me know what you think! Listen now. Past playlists: Summer 2016 Spring 2016 Winter 2016 |
