Anniversary sessions are a bit different. They’re still in love but there’s a different force at work. They’re comfortable with each other. They’ve got a year of marriage under their belts. Giddiness and excitement is replaced with respect and deeper knowledge of love. There’s a peacefulness about them. Kisses are deeper; hugs are held longer.
Will and Beth married last year in September in downtown Plano and when they were up in the area for a wedding, decided to do an anniversary shoot in the same place. We recreated some of their wedding shots and then came up with a few of our own.
I’ve known Will and Beth since grad school at Baylor and I’ve seen them grow in their relationship over the years, from Waco, to long distance, to SUPER long distance (the Netherlands to Texas, anyone?), to jobs in the same city, to engagement and marriage. If you’re ever in the mood for a craft beer and some pub trivia, the Farnsworths are your people.
One year, guys. Here’s to many more!
